About The Artist

Hannah is an emerging artist whose work features birds, forests, seascapes, and the female figure. Interested in nature, history, and myth, her recent work has been thematically focused on water, delving into questions about climactic changes in the perspective of deep time.

Currently studying Painting, Drawing and Printmaking at Arts University Plymouth, she is primarily a painter with a preference for watercolours and oils. Lately she has been experimenting with visual and surface texture, incorporating collage elements into her work, and playing with granulating paints. She is especially interested in transparency and layering, seen in both her use of paints and collaged tissues.
